"I love Merrell--the styling of the whole shoe line is really attractive to me. I have several pairs of Merrells in my closet and I find them to be, on the whole, very lightweight, durable and comfortable. The Siren Ventilator is a really cute shoe--it was recommended by a women's sports magazine as a good choice for a walking shoe. That being said, I was a little disappointed with the comfort level of these shoes. There was not enough give/cushioning for a good walking shoe (I have arthritic knees)--the footbeds are pretty rigid and hard. I will be adding an athletic sole insert--very unusual for Merrell."

These shoes are very comfortable. I bought them for running and hiking. I haven't used them for hiking yet, however, they are very comfortable for running. I wanted a running shoe that wasn't white. I love them so much, I'm thinking of buying another pair for when I wear them out.

"Zappos ROCKS!!! I have ordered tried and returned so many pairs of shoes trying to find the right ones for my big, bad, and painful feet. I was afraid Zappos was going to stop my returns before I found my shoes, but they didn't and after countless returns of countless brands, I found my shoes, Merrell Siren Ventilator! My feet and legs love them! They are lightweight, true to size, great footbed, lots of room for my toes and they come up higher around the ankle for great ankle support. My physical therapist approved them as well. Too bad I cannot do all my shopping at Zappos! I tell everyone what a great company they are to do business with."
