"I looked for these boots after reading the reviews here and on some other sites and I have to say, I loved the way they felt the moment I laced them up. They are very comfy, with excellent support through the arches. I normally use superfeet in all my hiking and backpacking boots but I haven't had to use them with these boots. They are warm, without being sweaty. They have great traction, even on wet terrain. From Denali Park AK to Yosemite CA, hiking in the mountains or walking along a park trail, these are fantastic. The only caution I would give those in search of a good pair of mid-weight boots, is that these run really small. I usually wear a 7 to a 7 1/2 and I had to buy an 8 1/2 in these. All Keen's seem to be the same though, my Keen sandals are also a full size larger than other brands."

I've had these boots for almost two years and today they decided to die by tearing apart at the seams. I'm so very sad I'm running out to get a new pair first thing in the morning as I just don't know what I will do without them. I do a lot of day hiking in mostly moderate PA terrain but these guys have hit trails of all types all over the country. I figure I've put in a good 1000 miles on them so I'll share what I know

"These may be the best things I carry in my pack. They are easier to put on than yak trax, stay on, and give great traction. Even over solid rock, my feet seem mostly stable.
The only place I have struggled is in deep unconsolidated snow, but I think that all devices would have a similar problem.
I suspect that I will carry in the summer as well for use on steep dirt."
