It features a simple white leather upper surrounded by black, along with a blue inner lining which matches, what looks from profile view to be retangles. Actually, the outsole features a wavy, striped design (black / blue) which featured many of Jordan's accomplishments. The reasoning behind this is that Nike and Tinker Hatfield thought Michael's career was over, and in order to pay homage to him, they listed his accomplishments.

"Okay, these shoes are awesome. They would be even be better if they made a pair with a GTX liner (called LSP and suggested it). I run with these in the winter and thy can CLIMB. Great traction, little slippage and nice fit for my foot. No complaints except the wet feet. Throw on some smart wool socks and be a man."

"I bought the Merrell Moab because they were touted as being good for hot weather. Although they are great for supporting your feet and ankles, it's not like you will feel the breeze on your feet as you walk. During the hot summer months in Florida, I find myself taking off my hiking shoes after time outdoors. I still need to do that chore even with the Merrell shoes. I resign myself to the fact that for real breathability, I need some type of sandals or something with actual openings in the shoe to let my dogs breathe!"

"I am a mid 50's mildly active overweight guy with flat feet and bad ankles...other than that, my feet are perfect!!! My career requires me to be on my feet 90% percent of the time in "dress shoes" that absolutely "kill my feet". When I get home and on my days off I live in my Shape-ups!!! When I put them on it's like having a new pair of feet "WITHOUT ANY PAIN"!!! I can walk in them all day, they are like walking on cushions of air. I reluctantly tried them at first due to being an "ol fashioned" kind of guy that was initially unsure of the design but I am sure glad I did buy them. I only wish that skechers would come out with "dress shoes" that have the same type of comfort and fit that exists in the shape-ups. I would "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" these shoes for everyone, especially those with any type of foot pain...THEY REALLY WORK FOR ME...GIVE THEM A TRY, I DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!"
