They feature a white leather upper, with a black tongue and lacing area, but the lacing holes are grey, which definitely make the shoe stand out more. These featured an extra piece of material on the tongue, which Michael did not care for, and wanted to have removed. It is the only Air Jordan that he did not fully approve of. He had spoken to Tinker Hatfield during its early stages of development, but nothing was set in stone. Other interesting and overall nice features include the striped pattern on the outsole which lists many of Michael's accomplishments, as well as the checkered pattern which can be seen on the inner lining. The light blue Jumpman on the outsole is another really nice added feature. The Air Jordan 10 (X) are simple in design, but do feature characteristics from (and are inspired by) the Air Jordan 3 (III), Air Jordan 5 (V), and Air Jordan 6 (VI).

"My foot doctor told me I needed a shoe with the rollbar in it. Did not realize there was such a thing in a shoe. I have a fused big toe joint so a shoe that allows my toes to bend as I walk is a bad fit for me. I walk 3 miles a day and this is the best shoe I have found that is comfortable for my whole foot. When I walk I just "roll" off the toe area. Definitely recommend it for anyone that has the same problem."

"Great active shoe for hot weather. I\'m a hobbyist outdoor photographer and for full days in the field, comfortable, supportive shoes are essential but hiking boots are just too much sometimes. I alternated these with a Keen sandal (the Whisper) for an entire week on hilly cobblestone streets in central Mexico. A decent fit for my freakishly narrow heels. (The Siren Sport was a big failure for me.) Nicely supportive for my flat feet. Those with high arches may want to look elsewhere since this isn\'t as firm as many other Merrells. Soles are very grippy, even on those wet cobblestones. A bit more cushioning would make it perfect. I sized up a full size to accommodate foot swelling and socks."

"I'm a big fan of Keen products. I have wide feet and medium-high arches, and they are the only hiking shoe I've had in a long time that is wider than a medium width and doesn't require a separate orthodic to get decent arch support. Being prone to heel blisters, I was worried at first, but I have not gotten a blister yet. I would recommend them to anyone with wider than normal feet and arches. However, make sure to buy a 1/2 size up as Keen shoes are sometimes cut a little small."
