What you see is not what you get, November 4, 2010
Maryann"I ordered these shoes and when I got them they were not the same as advertised. The website shows red with red soles but the soles were black. Would not have ordered them if I knew that.Red with red soles yes red with black soles no thanks. [...]"
Birthday present for my daughter, March 1, 2011
Max"I purchased these tennis shoes as a birthday present for my daughter (14 years old) and she loves them. Her pair has the metallic swish and it changes color depending on the light. All her friends love the way they look :o)"
incredibly comfortable for extended wear, December 14, 2010
Andy"i am a veterinary nurse, and i put A LOT of miles on my feet. These shoes are absolutely wonderful! They provide the support and comfort i need, and my feet stay happy!"
Can't live without them!!, December 27, 2010
Peggy"This has to be the most comfortable shoe ever. I wear them everyday and they just about replaced every other shoe I own. I'm all for comfort these days and you've got a winner here."
Great Winter Traction, December 28, 2010
MaxwellThese are great for winter trail travel. They don't weigh much and are easy to stuff in your pack. When the trail turns icy and snowy just slip them on and you've got traction that really counts. The major wear portion is entirely metal and unlike some other brands you won't be walking on and wearing out the rubber parts at all. I'd prefer a darker color, but the red gets everyone's attention when you go zooming by them on the snow packed trails. Excellent addition to anyone's winter pack.
Light, Fast, Grippy, Low Profile, January 10, 2011
Eric"Coming from a beefy Salomon shoe, the fireblade seemed lighter, faster, had more grip, and a lower profile. It has great traction on just about any surface that I have tested so far. A few runs in these shoes and I improved my time on my daily trail runs. I credit this to the light & grippy feeling you have in them. They cool/wick easy, but they also dont have any protection to keep water out. I also feel more susceptible to spraining my ankle in them due to the low profile. The laces usually stay tied. I also wear a gaiter with them to help keep trail debris out due to the low profile."
Rolling, January 10, 2011
Clive"First pair of La Sportivas and am happy as a pig in...Great low profile, decent shank protection, excellent heal cup, good grit guard, light weight and plesently surprised by the tread. The Frixion rubber is sticky and the tread design gives ample traction going up and going down. Lots of comments about these being tight; I have wide feet and do not think the Fireblades feel restrictive at all. I got the wide sized version (there is a + next to the size number). A well designed trail runner sutible for training and positively race worthy. Roll on with these tied to fleet feet."
Best Shoes EVER !, January 13, 2011
Teddy"I love these shoes. They were my second pair of Nikes and i LOVE them. They are the best shoes I ever had. They go with anything and they are EXTREMELY comfortable. They are also great for walking distances, but ARE NOT RUNNING SHOES. Hah, but they look great on your feet when people seee you (:"
pricey, January 21, 2011
Roy"The only reason I would recommend this shoe is because they are "HOT" at this moment and that is why they are so pricey. Once they are not "HOT" it will be a wrap for these shoes."
Great shoes, January 26, 2011
Vernon"These shoes were great, I tried them on in the store before I bought online and tried on other Nike's with a higher and lower price point. However, I thought these were the most comfortable. I am very happy with these shoes!"
I've been passing the ..., March 31, 2011
Sean"I've been passing the word along about how great the service is when ordering from Zappos. During the busy Christmas season, I had my order two days later. The greatest part is that I paid no shipping charges, and if these shoes had not been satisfactory to me in any way. I could return them with no shipping charges. I have found no other online outlet with this kind of superior service."
I have very high arches ..., May 3, 2011
Carson"I have very high arches and size 5 feet. Finding a supportive shoe with terrific support is difficult. This shoe is terrific. It arrived last night and I wore it on the walk to work this morning. No sore feet, no tired calves. It is nice to have a shoe that gives me terrific support and fits!"
I am returning this shoe. ..., May 14, 2011
Blaine"I am returning this shoe. I have never been a fan of Nike (run in Asics), but I wanted the GTX in a neutral shoes for my sloppy winter runs. Running in these is like running with wooden planks on your feet. There is zero feel for the road, zero flex... Not to mention that the GTX in this model makes the uppers very stiff so they dig into your feet. Very disappointed by the Air Pegasus GTX!"
I have always worn Nike ..., May 20, 2011
Ervin"I have always worn Nike running shoes and they fit me great. However, the Pegasus+26 is too loose in the heel. The shoestrings were so short that I had to go buy longer ones, hoping it would solve the problem. It helped, but they are still slipping a little in the heel. Disappointed in these shoes."
Tried these on a whim ..., June 9, 2011
Preston"Tried these on a whim because Zappos touts them as being "perfect for the serious fitness walker". They offer little arch & overall foot support. Kind of cool looking, but I need a sturdy, supportive athletic shoe, not a fashion statement. Overall however, Nike makes an exceptional athletic shoe & it has been my brand of choice for many years. These are going back."
Greatest summer shoes ..., June 10, 2011
Josh"Greatest summer shoes ever!! I am a 63 year old nurse who has circulation issues and these shoes were so comfortable and supportive from the get go. The minute I put them on they were comfy just like others I've had to break in for months. They look great and kept my feet happy all summer."
Confortable Shoe, June 13, 2011
ClarkeI bought this shoe for my wife to take on our Route 66 trip. There are many rough places with gravel, rocks and unlevel ground. Since she had recently had foot surgery I was looking for something with all around support. I found them based on an article in Forbes about shoes vs price. She was quite surprised at how well they fit right out of the box and the support they provided was much better than her other shoes. She wore them for all activities on our trip without mishap and most importantly without her foot hurting.
This is the best running shoe!, , June 13, 2011
Homer"This is a great running shoe. I always have to order one size larger than I normally do. I have worn Nike for years and I find they run small. I would suggest if you order this way you won't be disappointed."
I continue to search for ..., June 15, 2011
Newell"I continue to search for the perfect shoe that will help me reach my marathon goal. This Nike comes pretty close. Upon switching into this shoe from a Saucony, I noticed my toes didn\'t fall asleep as fast. They run small and while I will buy this shoe again, I think I\'ll go up a half size."
I purchased these shoes ..., June 27, 2011
Wilton"I purchased these shoes based on the reviews which said the shoes have arch support as I have very high arches. I received the shoes today and tried them on. They have no arch support at all and are not true to size. I think if you have no arches at all maybe there is some support but for me there is none."
