A women's version was released in the sae colorway, but many people don't know that there are two distinct models, one for each gender. These feature a white leather upper, alongside blue accents, which can be seen on the tongue, inner lining, and outsole. The outsole features a modified herringbone pattern which provides great traction. The shoe's designed is modeled after the ?Nisshoki?, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century women?s dress boot. It features stitched leather which radiates outward like sun rays, and this theme extends all the way to the arch of the shoe. The rands on the side panels feature a lizard skin print, ala the Air Jordan 2 (II).

I also run in the La Sportiva Wildcat and these are a much lower profile shoe than the Wildcat. They feel like a racing flat with a low profile heel. I really have no complaints about the shoe. "I am very happy with this shoe. I have big feet and I ordered the 11 wide and it has enough room in the toe box not to pinch my feet. The arch support hits my foot in the right spot. I tried Saucony first and the arch was in the wrong place. I was looking for a shoe with a lot of cushioning because I use it to walk a 3 mile loop on pavement. I recently roamed all over Rome with them without any problems.It is a little wider than expected for a medium width but that suits me just fine. It's also cool-looking!
