"I've been wearing the shoes every day since I received them. Little to no break in time - they were comfortable the first time on. Good traction and they feel good when walking. I'm wondering how the sticky rubber sole will hold up in the long term wear wise. So far the soles are showing minimal wear. I walk mostly on concrete and tile floors along with sidewalks. I usually have a good experience with ACGs and am hoping these will meet my expectations.

I bought these for a Romeo-style shoe that wasn't what I'd deal with for the traditional "slipper" style shoe. I tried them on at first, and while they were originally pretty stiff, I went with them anyway. I don't think a day has gone by in two years that I've not worn these shoes. When I've abstained from them, it's been because I needed to wash them (which you can do, regardless of the warnings. Just shove them in the washer and air dry without the linings).

"They're perfect for this beginning runner! These are the first running shoes I have ever bought, and so far I've run about 40 miles in them. They are extremely comfortable, with excellent cushioning and arch support. They breathe very well, and grip perfectly on road/sidewalk surfaces of all types. They are a fairly bulky looking shoe, but running isn't about fashion! I recommend the gray color: I've run around a wet park and a dusty trail, and they still look perfectly clean. Running is not always comfortable for beginners, but at least you won't have to worry about your feet!"

"I have always worn Nike running shoes and they fit me great. However, the Pegasus+26 is too loose in the heel. The shoestrings were so short that I had to go buy longer ones, hoping it would solve the problem. It helped, but they are still slipping a little in the heel. Disappointed in these shoes."
