The shoe itself does feature a sleek design, and is inspired by the Ferrari F355F1. This inspiration is evident in certain features, including shield- shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa red shank plate and midsole air vent. Other features of the shoe include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. They are the lightest Air Jordans to date, and have great traction, thanks to the herringbone pattern featured on the outsole.

"Had high hopes for these shoes. After my first run on a rocky trail I realized they weren't going to work there. Then I used them around town, to work or the gym and they are good there. Then I decided to try them on climbing approaches and they failed miserably there. They have very little protection from rough surfaces or rocks or trail irregularities. Maybe I misunderstood what this shoe is for (road running?) but it just didn't work for me. I will say they are comfortable and lightweight which I do like. If you are looking for a rough trail shoe keep looking."

"A great shoe; I love how lightweight it is, how it still lets my foot move through a step and how it seems to fit well. Didn't need much, if any, time to break in and no pressure points. I usually wear a size 10 running shoe and a 9.5 street shoe; this one was true to my norm. I've only done a four mile run on blacktop so far, but the shoe did well. I hit some snow and ice, upon which the shoe seemed great on the snow and hard slush but slid a little on the sheer ice. I prefer more near-minimalist shoes but these will be good for trails and winter blacktop jogs."

"I have high arches and therefore look for extra cushioning. I have used Nike+ shoes before and they have been great, these however are uncomfortable and gave me blisters, knee problems, and ankle problems after only 2 days using it. I had to return it and ended up going back to Citius, my old Nike+ shoes, which are AMAZING. Citius Nike+ shoes are sold at Sports Authority as well, I highly suggest them."
