They feature a leather, durabuck, and woven upper, along with metallic silver accents, which can be seen on the midsole. The heel counter features the words "Air Jordan" in silver print. The low cut design isn't the best thing for playing basketball, as they provide no true support of the ankle. They do feature an excessively long tongue, which tends to hang over the front of the shoe, we vaguely reminds of his Airness running down the court with his patented look, sticking out his tongue as he goes up for the dunk. If you thought the high top versions were bad, then there has to be a stronger word to describe these, as the design is simply..ugly. They do however feature some nice specifications, which include a hidden lace system, and? an injected TPR external heel counter for additional support. The outsole is constructed from two pieces with extended wraps, as well as rubber herringbone pods for increased traction.

"I like the shoe and have been trying to find a shoe like my other pair of NB that they discontinued. So far the shoe is comfortable, but it still doesn't match the 336 that I had previously. "Great looking a little hard in heel, remove insoles replaced - My wife likes these Brooks Addiction walkers a lot, being on feet for her 12 hour shift in a nursing home is very rough on her feet and legs. "I just got these a couple days ago, and I've been wearing them for a few hours at a time to get used to them. I've found in the last couple of years that Merrell shoes are being made a tad shorter than before. I can still wear my usual size (8-1//2) with very thin socks, but with thicker socks I now need to buy a half size up. My feet haven't changed, as I still have 2 older pair that I use for gardening, in 8-1/2 and they are fine with thick socks. Anyway, this is the first Siren Ventilator I have purchased and they seem lighter and more breathable than the Chameleons that I've had in the past. At least I hope so. There really is not much, if any, break-in period required, but I'm hiking and birding this weekend, and I would never wear brand new shoes out of the box to do that. Merrells are great and the only brand I've found I can count on buying on-line. Excellent! I am already to look for another color to purchase!"

"Not enough cushion - Walking is my exercise. I read all the reviews and thought for sure these shoes would be perfect. They hurt my feet and had no cushion. "These sneakers are great, I owned Nike Shox before this & wore them out walking. I checked these out on Zappos (which I love) & decided to give them a try. They are light weight & have excellent support. The only draw back is they are mesh on the sides, so much so that you can see your socks through them, so they are not a great winter sneaker, but I use them in the gym"

"Amazingly comfortable - I just received these today, and have now ordered a second pair, that's how good they are. OK, so the split toe visually looks a little weird--one thinks of "cloven hoofs"--but the fact is that these are incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in. They definitely run a half-size small, so if you're a half-size, order up. The arch support, fit, and adjustable cross and heel straps are exceptional, as is the light weight and sleek look on the foot. I never order two pairs of shoes at once, but wanted to be sure I would have these for a long time to come. These will be great to work out in, without socks, in the spring and summer."

"Terrific walking shoe! I have been through pair, after pair, after pair of athletic shoes. I have bunions on both feet, and while my feet are not wide, most shoes don't have enough give to accommodate the pokey bunions; wide shoes are just too big. These are just right the mesh fabric gives my feet room, while still keeping them secure. Nice! Also, I tend to pronate on my left, but stability shoes are annoyingly stiff. I do just fine with these, and don't feel like I need extra stabilization. They're nice and bendy too, so they move nicely with my foot's natural motion. Great arch support as well. All told, I am in love with these shoes FINALLY! I have found a shoe that works for me."
