"I am very happy with my recent purchase of the Siren Ventilator. It is built on the Siren sole, so it has a more flexible feel than some of the other Merrell shoes that I have had in the past. Like most Merrell\'s I find that it does not have arch support for my very high arched feet; however, I just wear it for shopping and running errands so this does not pose any problems. I find that the Ventilator fits me better than the Sport in the Merrell Line. I wear a size 7 in a dress shoe and I always order 7 1/2 in an athletic shoe. I ordered the Ventilator in a 7 1/2 and it fits well with a mid-weight sock."

"Fantastic Shoe! I am a big guy who had foot surgery last February. I needed a shoe with a wide toe box and good support for hiking trails and general winter use. I originally purchased in a 10.5 (my normal size) but I had to exchange for an 11 because they were just too tight in width. Of course exchange is a breeze with Zappos. There is a noticeable difference in width at the next size up. The leather is very soft and holds its color great. I have high arches and these are very easy for me to get into. I also use orthotics and they work great in this shoe. We had our first accumulating snow the other day and they keep my feet warm and dry. If you are looking for a comfortable supportive hiking and general use shoe this is a great buy. They are a bit expensive but I have found that when looking for quality shoes you generally get what you pay for. I personally like the looks. I think Keens are one of those brands that you either like the look or you hate it. I purchased a pair of Newport sandals a few months earlier. It was their quality that led me to purchase this shoe. I hope to buy a dressier Keen shoe sometime in the near future."
