They feature a white leather upper with an extremely noticeable blue patent leather toe. The Jordan shroud features a white leather design as well as a navy mesh on the back. The shorud is basically a lace covering, which hides the laces, and actually seems to give the shoe a nicer, more casual look, which means you can wear them for different occasions. The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) combines aspects from previous Air Jordans. For example, you can see the patent leather located on the toe from the Air Jordan 11 (XI), the ribbed leather gaiter similar to the uppers of the Air Jordan 14 (XIV). Also, the 3/4 midcut from the Air Jordan 3 (III) (hence the name 3/4 High), and the mesh uppers from the Air Jordan 5 (V). The shoe also features a clear strip vertically down the heel counter, as well as a clear outsole. The sole seems to be a problem among critics, as they feel there is not enough rubber that, which would explain the lack of traction within the shoe.

"These are the best shoes ever! I have fibromyalgia, and have a lot of trouble walking and standing! I have not been able to go out shopping with my friends, or do anything that required a lot of walking. With these shoes I can walk for longer periods of time, and my back and hips don't hurt! "Wonderful shoe - I recently received the Brook Addiction Walker and was able to wear it right out of the box. I have a short wide foot, and I'm shorter on one side than the other, due to an injury in my arch. I wear a lift in the right heel area. This is the first shoe I found that leaves me with no pain at all. What a wonderful thing it is NOT to hurt with every step you take. I was very surprised to find the Brooks Addiction 7 did hurt in the heel and arch area as the shoes are very similar. I highly recommend this shoe. The only negative thing about the Walkers is the shoe strings are very short. I do struggle to get them tied. And it would be nice to have a lighter color that did not look so white, more tennis shoe like to wear in the summer. The Walker is the only shoe I can wear no matter what the occasion. I was wearing New Balance shoes prior to these, most recent 855, and still having pain. Please Brooks and Zappos don't stop carrying this wonderful shoe. This was my first time buying from Zappos. The only thing I can suggest is if you could somehow make the pictures of the shoes more clear. Great company."

"I love these shoes! I'm on my feet 8 hours a day, 5-7 days a week. My feet hut when I get home. It's so important for me to have comfortable shoes. These are really "squishy" and do everything as advertised. Slip resistant is a great, safe feature and the material is easy to clean & the black color hides dirt. My feet don't ache nearly as bad as with many other shoes I've had! I am really happy that they are wide enough. Being on my feet for so long, they swell & after a few days I end up with a blister or callous somewhere with every new shoe I try. But not with these! These are Bomb!"

"I have had Merrell shoes before and have been impressed. I am hard on shoes... and comfort and reliability is key too. So I am picky when it comes to what I will wear on my feet. I do alot of hiking, but having these shoes on all day never seems to matter. Right out of the store they feel awesome!!! I recently purchased The Chameleon Wrap Stretch Gortex XCR ...also by Merrell...ANOTHER awesome shoe which gives the benefit of Gortex to deal with wet conditions. These two shoes have NO COMPARISON in the shoe market. If Merrell quits making these two styles, then I will go barefoot!!!"
