"I wanted to try another brand of highly rated walking shoe but the Brooks Addiction in my opinion do not compared to high end 800's or 900's in the New Balance line. They hurt my feet at rest and hurt my calf muscles when walking. The shoe fits high in the heel. I will stick with New Balance."

"After reading the reviews (one of the reasons I shop Zappos) and because Zappos allows you to order and return Free shipping, I sent for one pair in my regular size and the other pair one half size larger. Sure enough the reviews were right, between your socks and an orthotic device, the larger is the way to go. I put the shoes on, and on the first time, I could walk well. I, like many other readers, have a condition that can make it difficult to walk with even the best shoes. So I highly recommend these Saconys. Not to mention Zappos marketing!!! Win/Win."

"I wear these shoes to work daily and so far they are up to the job. I do alot of walking and standing and they feel pretty good. They seem a little narrow in the toe area and don't give much as your feet swell during the day. You may want to get a size wider than usual. Other than that, it's a good shoe and well worth the money."

"This is my second pair of these shoes. I like them a lot. They are good for narrow feet. I\'d say they run a half size small. I use these shoes to go on my regular 4 mile walks. They are very comfortable and I like the way they look. (I do add my own insoles to these shoes but I do that with all of my walking shoes!)"
