I bought this shoe for my wife to take on our Route 66 trip. There are many rough places with gravel, rocks and unlevel ground. Since she had recently had foot surgery I was looking for something with all around support. I found them based on an article in Forbes about shoes vs price. She was quite surprised at how well they fit right out of the box and the support they provided was much better than her other shoes. She wore them for all activities on our trip without mishap and most importantly without her foot hurting.

"These sneakers look very cute and feel very cushy and comfortable. I ended up returning them though because I want a sneaker that is a little lighter, more breathable (for when my feet get hot and sweaty) and has a more flexible heel. The heel on these, as on Saucony s in general, are pretty thick. Keep in mind also that the silver on the silver and blue sneakers is a little brighter and shinier than in the photo. So basically, I think they look good and feel comfortable but they didn't match exactly what I was looking for."

"This running show is great for people who have a wide toe area and also tend to supinate (or rotate toward the outside). This is my second pair of Pegasus, a style Nike brought back after a hiatus because of its ease to break in, cushion and comfort. I put about 30-40 miles a week on mine, and they are great for running on hard surfaces, protecting my feet and joints from too much impact. I highly recommend them. "I am very happy with this shoe. I have big feet and I ordered the 11 wide and it has enough room in the toe box not to pinch my feet. The arch support hits my foot in the right spot. I tried Saucony first and the arch was in the wrong place. I was looking for a shoe with a lot of cushioning because I use it to walk a 3 mile loop on pavement. It has more cushion than my New Balance runners, but after all the rave reviews from the Air Max Moto +5 (which I could not find anywhere) I guess my expectations were a little too high. I found them very comfortable and I love the roomy toe box, but I wouldn't say they were the most amazing ever. I took them for a run and they felt fine. I found them true to size. I think next time I will try the Vomero. But I definitely love Nike over other brands that I have tried."

"Several days ago, I received a pair of Nike Air Max Turnaround Lows in white/obsidian/red. About 1 hour after I put them on, I became so impressed with the way they felt that I wanted another pair in black. While the white is absolutely perfect with my blue jeans, I prefer the black pair with black, or khaki slacks or jeans. It makes them just a bit dressier, while enabling me to continue to wear a very cool pair of basketball shoes. Not withstanding, the black pair felt just as comfortable as my original white pair. They may be great for basketball, but they are not just for the sport. Great for day to day wear, too."
