"I wear orthotics and these shoes are excellent, and look great as well. I bought these to wear as walking shoes for a trip to Europe (instead of the gym-look of the Nike Air Pegasus I normally wear). Besides looking good, I like them because my orthotics raise my heel in shoes and this typically causes my heel to raise up too high under the "heel counter" (the part of the shoe that grips the heel) of most shoes even when the foot bed is removed. These Brooks shoes accommodate that problem very well and are comfortable with my orthotics. Perhaps the best thing about them is that they let the orthotic, not the shoe, control and correct my foot. What I mean by that is they appear to contain a solid sole, which is a good base for my orthotic. Many running shoes have features that control pronation or supination, etc. My podiatrist notes that those features work against the features in a good orthotic."

"I work as a medical care provider and on my feet at least 8 hours per day. These are the most comfortable shoes I have used in 35 years of practice. I tried numerous styles and brands and three years ago got my first pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers and haven't wanted any other shoe since. These do run small. I normally wear a 12D and had to go to a 13D to get a comfortable fit. If you spend a lot of time on your feet on hard surfaces you cannot get a more comfortable shoe than this."

"Supportive and comfortable shoe for running and walking. Lots of cushioning in the heel. Good arch support. Fun color combination and and patent leather trim (not obnoxious). I won't say that they fit my feet perfectly (arch is set a little far back for me), but they were the best of the 20 or so pairs I tried. Definitely wider in the toe box than some other Nike styles (which I like) and the rest of the shoe is true to width."

"Super Cute! But a little snug... It very well could be my fault, but because I was not planning on wearing them with socks, I ordered a half size smaller. I think Nike assumes you aren't going to wear socks, so they did it for you. Order your true size. Other than that, I LOVE THESE SHOES!"
