"Warning - To anyone not aware, the front half of the upper of this shoe is plastic/rubber. I was not aware of this from the description. The plastic was so stiff it made the shoe impossible to wear and I had to return the shoes. On another note, thank you Zappos.com for you excellent customer service."

"I am returning this shoe. I have never been a fan of Nike (run in Asics), but I wanted the GTX in a neutral shoes for my sloppy winter runs. Running in these is like running with wooden planks on your feet. There is zero feel for the road, zero flex... Not to mention that the GTX in this model makes the uppers very stiff so they dig into your feet. Very disappointed by the Air Pegasus GTX!"

"At first I wanted to send these shoes back. They slipped on my heal and there is nothing worse for me than a shoe that slips off my foot. But, after lacing the shoe up to the top hole the slipping stopped and it is wonderful. I do wish the lacing were longer but nothing a new pair of those won't fix. Another perk was getting the shoes not even 24 hours after placing the order. Having a larger foot (11.5), it is hard for me to find shoes that fit well, with Zappos reviews and wonderful service I don't have to worry about the hassles of searching every store in the area for a shoe that might fit. Thanks!"
