"I have loved Saucony shoes for such a long time. They fit the arches in my foot perfectly; however, I was pretty disappointed with this shoe. I had two problems. First, they wore out so fast. I've had them no time and they are already quite worn out. Second, they offer no protection whatsoever from water. If I walk in slightly dewy grass for more than just a few steps, my socks get wet. These would be okay in a dry summery climate (if not for wearing out too quickly), but anywhere with rain, or for that matter dew is just unacceptable. Go for the Grid Excursion instead."

"These shoes are awesome, minus the fact that they feel about half a size too big. I am keeping them though. "Great shoe! This shoe is the most comfortable sneaker I have found. I am a big guy 6'4" 300lbs. and have to wear wide shoes; 4E or 5E size 13. Zappos carries these sizes and retail stores do not have a good selection in that size. Normally, I have issues with foot fatigue whether it is from working out at the gym or walking. I walk at least a couple miles per day. These shoes are quite comfortable. After I had them for a couple of weeks I accessed the site to order another pair in case they are no longer carried. My feet are happy with this shoe!!!"

"I've been switching shoes for a while - Gel Landreth, Asics Cumulus, Mizuno Wave Precision. These Pegasus have the best cushioning of the past few shoes I've tried. The sole is not ultra flexible, but that's the only drawback."

I purchased these for gym running and strength training but because of the loose (yet comfortable) fit, they are more appropriate for general use (i.e. errands and brisk outdoor walking). The cushioning is great. I will stick with my narrow Asics Gel Nimbus for a tight fitting gym shoe."
