The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) are sometimes referred to as the "Bugs Bunnies", because people would take the straps, and make them into loops, similar to rabbit ears.

They are especially well-suited for the wetness of the Pacific Northwest. "Love the look and color combo on this shoe! I would say, however, that for me they ran a little bit small or narrow in spite of the size listed. Still, I kept them as they work for my easier shorter runs quite adequately and because they are fairly light, I wear them for short bike rides as well. The flex is comfortable in that there are no pressure points when bending the foot even with a fairly thin sock. One of the features I appreciate most is that the toe is more rounded! I hate the unnecessary pointy type tennis shoes so these are a comfy relief in that department."

"These shoes are extremely comfortable and cushiony! Like walking and running on air! They also look great. This is my 3rd pair of Air Max Motos, I love them. I run 2 or 3 miles, 4 times/week. "I tried this shoe along with a couple of others. The Asics Gel 1150 and the New Balance 660 as well as the 760. The Asics was big in the heel, and the New Balance shoes, although I've worn those before and been happy, seemed rigid and squeaky with too little toe cushion.The Nike Air Max is great. I've been wearing it for a little over a month, and love it. Nice and cushy, looks good and fits my narrow foot."

"They were almost perfect - The shoes are very silver, which didn't bother me and I was expecting it after reading the other reviews. After trying them on in my house they seemed comfortable at first, and then I started noticing the strip that goes down the center of the toes dug into my toes when I took a step which is unacceptable for a walking shoe."
