Great looking a little hard in heel, remove insoles replaced - My wife likes these Brooks Addiction walkers a lot, being on feet for her 12 hour shift in a nursing home is very rough on her feet and legs.

"Have worn these on many winter hikes, along waterfalls, here in PA. Also along trails that have a coating of ice and hard packed snow. They just plain work. Easy on and off. And they can take beating. Easily grip on inclines to 25-35 degrees and beyond, depending on conditions. Slick wet stuff around the 35 degree mark is often manageable with just a little extra power into the step. Obviously not for mountaineering, but can get you through a lot with these. Hands down...great product."

"This is my second pair of Merrell Chameleon Stretch shoes. Several years ago i was told by a friend that despite its looks, this shoe offers a good combination of comfort, durability and traction. After having my first pair for over two years, i too can attest to that. I put through hell my previous pair; i used in the rain, snow, mud, and even in the humid summers in Florida. When the shoe was dirty, i either hosed down or put them in the washer. Although washing machine is not recommended and the dryer is out of the question, the shoe withstood all the abuse i gave it; it never needed to be glued or fixed. I find that the shoe runs a little bit big but not quite to extend of a half size. I strongly recommend trying it before purchasing it. And one more thing; excellent choice of footwear to walk long distances in the city or trails, especially during the fall, winter and maybe spring time but i would not recommend it for humid or hot summers."

"I gave it a 4 star overall because no shoe, in my opinion is perfect so it should not get 5 stars. The comfort in this shoe is amazing and is very comfortable. The fitting and sizing is a little off because I wear 11's regularly but my Air Forces are 10 and a half's. The quality is good because not only is this shoe fly but it can go with anything you wear. Shorts, Jeans, Dickies, etc. The value of the shoe is great I used to have how they were $100 but the price went down which is good. The performance is Average because I only wore my Air Forces once since I got them and they already have creases in them which is bad."

"Great shoe! I have flat and extra wide feet. I have been wearing Nike Air Monarchs for over 6 years now, always replacing them with new Monarchs. I wear other shoes, for tennis and for the gym, but for long distance walking or running, these are the best. They have great cushioning (air pockets) that are very kind on my joints and also seem very durable. My only gripe is that there is not enough air circulation, so my feet get hot and sweaty very fast."
