"I love Merrell--the styling of the whole shoe line is really attractive to me. I have several pairs of Merrells in my closet and I find them to be, on the whole, very lightweight, durable and comfortable. The Siren Ventilator is a really cute shoe--it was recommended by a women's sports magazine as a good choice for a walking shoe. That being said, I was a little disappointed with the comfort level of these shoes. There was not enough give/cushioning for a good walking shoe (I have arthritic knees)--the footbeds are pretty rigid and hard. I will be adding an athletic sole insert--very unusual for Merrell."

"Feel great and that's most important - I have plantar fasciitis and need shoes/sandals that are comfortable, can take an orthotic and give enough support. Bought these shoes based on others recommendations here and am not disappointed. Can wear them all day with no problem, the fit is true and accurate to size. If I have any [small] complaint, it's that the shoe is a little clunky looking. I have a pair of Skechers that are much sportier, but aren't quite as comfortable with my inserts... in all, I'd recommend these highly for comfort."

"I use my shoes 3-4 times a week on a treadmill or track for workouts and often on the weekend when I know I'm going to put miles on. This shoe has been very durable. Usually I feel like I have to replace a running shoe within 6 months or so but not this pair. I had noticed that my feet were turning out a little recently so I bought an insole that helps to correct the supination. It worked beautifully and I've gotten a few more months out of the shoe. Highly recommend it for the 10-20 mile per week athlete."

"I love these shoes! Very comfortable and cool with the mesh. I do a lot of walking and I was pleased to not get a blister working them in. They fit perfect from when I took them out of the box! The only negative I have, is that if I walk on the sand, the sand goes through the mesh into the shoe. But I still love them!"
