I purchased these for gym running and strength training but because of the loose (yet comfortable) fit, they are more appropriate for general use (i.e. errands and brisk outdoor walking). "I have always worn Nike running shoes and they fit me great. However, the Pegasus+26 is too loose in the heel. The shoestrings were so short that I had to go buy longer ones, hoping it would solve the problem. It helped, but they are still slipping a little in the heel. Disappointed in these shoes."

"These shoes are good. I don't love the styling but chose them based on fit and comfort. I've had a similar pair before, and they worked well for me. My feet tend to turn when I walk and are very narrow -- this is a good shoe for these issues. It goes without saying that arch support is important in an athletic shoe, right? After the support in these wears away (about 6 months), I tear out the insoles and wear them with my custom insoles to get another 6 months out of them. I'll be purchasing another pair next year. I wish they looked more fashionable and/or came in a hot color! I have tried several other brands including Asics, New Balance, Adidas, and Saucony and found them to be inferior to Nike for one reason or another."

"These are interesting shoes. They do look cool and attract a lot of attention, but for me they were not very comfy. The toe separation thing is hard to get used to and the velcro strap is too tight across the top. Also, they don't breathe very well and my feet get hot. I'll stick with my Nike Free 5.0 shoes, even though they're all beat up!"

"On the go mom - I feel a need to share with everyone how great this shoe is!! I have 4 pair of Nike Air Rift shoes. I do not like flip flops, can't wear anything between the toes, but was convinced to try this on. It is the only shoe I wear. The split does not touch between the toe. I had fallen arches and could hardly walk. I bought these shoes and wore them everyday, and YES, my plantar fasciitis was gone!! The elastic expands as your foot swells throughout the day. The fabric between the toes allows air to filter into the shoe for healthier feet. They wash very well also. This is the best shoe I have ever worn!!"
